A 32mm barrel is the sweet spot for waves that look natural rather than “done” — soft, loose and wearable. This V-shaped tong is built to make that shape easier to achieve: clamp, hold, release, and the wave is already formed. No wrapping, no twisting, no burnt fingers from a bare barrel.

Smaller barrels create tight curls. Bigger barrels create volume but can struggle to hold a wave. 32mm sits in the middle: enough barrel to create a soft, defined wave, with enough heat retention to keep it through the day. The V-shaped design does the shaping for you.

Three steps to a loose wave
- Start with dry hair and apply a heat protection spray. Section hair into manageable pieces — roughly 2–3cm wide.
- Clamp a section between the V-shaped plates, close to mid-length (not at the root). Hold for 5–8 seconds, then release downward.
- Let the wave cool before brushing through with fingers. Cool hair holds shape better than hair that is brushed while still warm.
